LN residence, bandar lampung
(2018)
This house designed to resemble the atmosphere of a recreational tropical villa. The swimming pool act as the point of interest of the house, and can be viewed from most of the rooms inside the house. Wooden fins are used to create shading blinds at the working room on 2nd floor, and they are able to be opened & closed as needed.
INCO butterfly dome, sorowako

this dome is part of a closing mining project at Sorowako city. Sorowako is a small town which suddenly became vibrant because of nickel mines there
Dome ini merupakan bagian dari skenario closing mining project di kota Sorowako. Sorowako merupakan kota kecil yang menjadi ramai oleh para pendatang karena keberadaan tambang nikel disana. Idealnya setelah tambang ditutup, lingkungan yang rusak dinormalisasi seperti sediakala, namun pihak penambang memiliki keinginan untuk memberikan lebih dari itu, dan ingin memberikan tandamata kepada kota ini berupa kawasan eco-tourism di bekas lahan tambang mereka.

Sulam usus is a traditional handicraft of lampung which usually used as kebaya, paired with tapis. Sulam usus also used as a cap, pillow cover, table cover, etc.
The unique details of the fabric resembles the shape of intestines, makes it stand out from others and aesthetically beautiful to be used as a secondary skin of this mosque, offering an alternate identity of lampung in its architectue.

This project designed to be growing over the years. for the first stage, we put the first mass at the front of the site to minimize the use of fences, so the mass it self act as a fence. the raw architecture concept is chosen to be the main image of this building, using exposed concretes for walls, floors , and the columns. We also put a social space in the center of the site, so the students could have an outdoor "living room" for socializing.
